Construction Vehicles Cake for Aaron

We were tasked to make this special cake for Aaron's 4th birthday party.




A construction site full of sand and rocks, complete with authentic Caterpillar construction toys.

We even managed to make 2  sand piles!

A cool boy's cake that was quite popular! 

The construction vehicles were really awesome!

Phineas and Ferb cake for Caelan's 8th Birthday

This is one of favourite cakes I've made.

I spent a lot of time on the fondant figurines and fondant waves, and I was happy with how they turned out.

I've known Caelan since he was born! My pleasure to make his birthday cake yearly! ^_^

This is our small chocolate cake, draped in fondant.

Pretty in Pink Birthday Cupcakes for My Buddies

I made these for my buddies when we went out to celebrate one of our birthdays.

Around this time, I had just started making Swiss Meringue Buttercream 

and I was experimenting with different flavours.

The colour of the buttercream belies the flavour. 

My buddies couldn't guess the flavour! Hehehehe ^_^ 

The butterceam was coconut flavour. The cake was vanilla.

As always, glad to bake for family and close friends.

Black Cat Pretty In Pink Cake for Zelcy

Zelcy's mom ordered this surprise cake for her.

She likes the black cat picture and I was asked to copy it. 

This is the first time I made a 2D handcut fondant figurine.

We also made a little pretty bow for the cat.

Other decorations were fondant blossoms in black and pink, and fondant lettering which we placed on the cake board and on the front of the cake.

Looking at these pictures, I couldn't help but laugh. 

My photos really didn't look nice in the early days. 

Glad to say I have improved over the years.

Chelsea Football Club Cake for De Yao

This is one cake I will remember for a long time to come. 

I had to ask and reconfirm a few times on the cake flavour. 

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this grown adult guy loves strawberry cake!

Chelsea logo is printed on edible icing, placed on handpiped grass on our small strawberry cake.

Eliza's 2nd Starry Birthday Cake

Apart from the Mickey and Minnie theme cupcakes, we also made a starry birthday cake for Eliza's 2nd birthday.

This was for the birthday celebration at home. 

No one can have too much cake and there's no party without a nice birthday cake!

A simple buttercream cake, dressed with rainbow coloured stars at the base and stars in ascending sizes on the top. 

Plus birthday girl's name on stars too!

Eliza'a 2nd Mickey and Minnie Birthday Cupcakes

Eliza is my god-daughter, who is an adorable little girl!

For the 2nd birthday, her lovely parents Gwen and Aaron ordered 31 Mickey and Minnie Mouse theme cupcakes for her pre-school birthday party. They were laid out on a big cake board.

The happy tot was all smiles! 

Isn't she cute?

Doting daddy also ordered 2 dozens cupcakes to be given away at his office, in celebration of Eliza's 2nd birthday. 

Cupcakes were dressed in pink and they were so pretty too!
