Rilakuma Cupcakes For Felicia

This order came from my ex-colleague's sister's friend. 

Her daughter was turning 12 and she loves Rilakuma.

This order was very interesting because I was told not to use any pink at all. 

The birthday girl dislikes pink! 

The order was for 1 cupcake with a 3D Rilakuma, and 12 cupcakes with 2D fondant Rilakuma, everything on a cakeboard covered with fondant and birthday message on separate strip of fondant.

 We were glad to use our new lettering cutters for this order. Aren't they pretty?

Reyes' 10th Birthday World Cup Cupcakes

Reyes was turning 9 and he had a cool soccer party.

Since it was World Cup season, his mom (my friend Susan) ordered 28 cupcakes for his birthday party.

Cupcakes were chocolate and frosted with vanilla buttercream. 

Decorations were fondant lettering for name and age, 

flags were images printed on edible icing.

Happy 9th birthday, Reyes!

Chic and Classic Chanel Cupcakes

I love getting orders from my dear friend Clarissa ^_^

They are always fun to make and test my skills as a decorator, 

hence I really enjoy making them.

She asked me to make 12 Chanel theme cupcakes in black and white! 

I settled on 6 designs - high heel, handbag, perfume bottle, dress and thank you message. Each design in black, as well as white. 

This makes up 12 fondant toppers. My personal favourite is the handbag, I love the finer details on them, such as the stitching and the knots on the handles.

Pretty in Pink Birthday Cupcakes for My Buddies

I made these for my buddies when we went out to celebrate one of our birthdays.

Around this time, I had just started making Swiss Meringue Buttercream 

and I was experimenting with different flavours.

The colour of the buttercream belies the flavour. 

My buddies couldn't guess the flavour! Hehehehe ^_^ 

The butterceam was coconut flavour. The cake was vanilla.

As always, glad to bake for family and close friends.

Eliza'a 2nd Mickey and Minnie Birthday Cupcakes

Eliza is my god-daughter, who is an adorable little girl!

For the 2nd birthday, her lovely parents Gwen and Aaron ordered 31 Mickey and Minnie Mouse theme cupcakes for her pre-school birthday party. They were laid out on a big cake board.

The happy tot was all smiles!

Doting daddy also ordered 2 dozens cupcakes to be given away at his office, in celebration of Eliza's 2nd birthday. 

Cupcakes were dressed in pink and they were so pretty too!
